Tanggle is built by a couple from Estonia. One of us writes the code and is responsible for all the bugs on the site, and the other creates all the lovely art and comes up with the greatest ideas.

During the pandemic we were separated by borders and couldn't meet in person to do physical puzzles together. We looked around for online options, but every option was either clunky, full of ads, or just lacked obvious features.

Finding a job was problematic at that time, so we had plenty of time to create our own puzzling place. A place, where people from different corners of the globe can team up on the same puzzle, in real-time, with zero hassle. And we wanted it to be free!

But every free puzzle app is infested with ads. We chose a completely different path — free and completely ad-free puzzling for everyone, with only some extra fancy features being subscription-based. We designed it so the subscription is more like a way to support us rather than something that completely locks people out.

And this totally worked out! Thanks to your incredible love and support, we're able to keep the experience hassle-free and completely ad-free for everyone. With such a strong foundation behind us, we're more determined than ever to build the ultimate puzzle app — the best puzzle experience in existence!

We've got big dreams! Achievements, customizations, puzzle shapes, new modes, completely new ways to enjoy puzzles... The to-do list is long, and we're just getting started.

But before adding all the fancy features, we want to perfect the basics: a better puzzle engine, easier ways to play with friends and the community, and the freedom to assemble puzzles on more devices and platforms.
